I was just agonising over whether to go for a 50mm or not actually. It’s weird – the photographer in me wants the lowest f-stop ever but the filmmaker in me wants to go in the opposite direction!
I try to focus on the result I am after, then what I need to do to achieve it. Buying equipment might be part of the solution, but only as a last resort. Easy to say I know. Gadget geeks might find this a bit of a challenge.
Not quite sure I get you. Surely you decide what you want to achieve then decide on how to achieve it?
I agree about the equipment though, them lenses aren’t cheap and the name of the game with filmmaking is getting away with as much as you can with as little as possible.
Sorry that my reply was misleading. We are in agreement.
Love the way you captured the shadow of the object
Yep, I was pleased with the result. Thanks for commenting Maria
Beautiful. What lens did you use?
I used a 50mm prime – It’s my current favourite.
