5th August 2011 – Golden Interlude
This is one of the rooms inside the Palazzo Medici Riccardi, grand building impressively decorated rooms. When I say grand this includes some breathtaking ceilings.
It’s hard to imagine that the family who commissioned and lived here went on to build and live in two other homes after this one.
There is quite a lot to see and so some people need to rest it seems. One of my daughters commented that perhaps the people you see dozing off are waiting for someone like me. Can’t think what she means, but I guess you can 
As they say nowadays, That is one big bunch of gold!
And how chic the Italian chairs are, such a little touch but so telling.
