5th May 2011 – The Monument
This is the top of a structure called “The Monument”.
It was built between 1671 and 1677 to commemorate the Great Fire of London and to celebrate the rebuilding of the City.
I deliberately included the birds flying around. Sometime in the future, I will take another shot of this with other lens so that I can zoom in closer.
Nice capture, especially with the birds.
Hi. This is not one of my favourites, as I can see that I just had the wrong lens for the shot I was trying to take. Nevertheless, the line created by the birds and the top of the monument worked for me.
